Our Story
We opened Reds Hair & Co in Edge Hill in September 2022, bringing together more than a decade of experience in Cairns hair and colour. Our owner, Caitlin, began her career in Cairns in 2010 and has continued to build her skills through advanced cutting and colour workshops across Australia. In 2019, she completed a six-month intensive colour course at Wella Studios in Sydney and became one of only a small number of Master Colour Experts in North Queensland. Reds Hair & Co grew from Caitlin's love of great hair, ongoing education and genuine connection. We've created a salon where our clients can feel comfortable, our team can keep learning and every appointment is approached with care.
A Team That Never Stops Learning
At Reds Hair & Co, we offer everything from hair colouring, balayage and highlights to colour correction, cutting, treatments and special occasion styling. Having that range under one roof means we can look at your hair as a whole and recommend what makes sense for you. Education is a big part of how we work. Caitlin continues to mentor the team and encourages ongoing training so we can keep building our skills, learning new techniques and bringing fresh ideas back into the salon.
